TONIC Health & Wellness Festival to take place on Sunday November 8

A FESTIVAL celebrating health and wellbeing will take place in Belfast next month.

Organised by sound therapist Tessa Greer, the first TONIC Health & Wellness Festival at T13 in the Titanic Quarter on Sunday November 8 will feature a range of health and wellbeing exhibitors, practitioners, workshops and talks.

From highlighting a range of health and wellness options on offer for individuals and families from all walks of life and offering a selection of nutritious healthy food and drink options to offering visitors free talks and workshops, as well as experience of a range of complementary therapies, the event is set to welcome a whole host of people and exhibitors to T13.

Tessa Greer, who is a sound therapist with her own company The Sound Healing Spa, said: “At the festival we will have a range of natural, complementary and conventional therapies represented as well as complementary therapy taster sessions, talks and workshops in everything from yoga and Tai Chi to personal development as well as personal training demos, a kids and families area, creativity and wellbeing exhibitors, music and dance performances amongst many other experiences.”

“Through the work I now do, it is very much focused on encouraging others to pay attention to and improve their own health and wellness. The work I deliver and the way in which I deliver it is very much about raising awareness around what people can do to help themselves, over and above the time the take out of their lives to come along to my sessions.

“It’s very encouraging to see people interact with what I do and understand that they have even more of a part to play than I do, in improving their own experience of life through improved wellbeing.

“Bringing the TONIC Health & Wellness Festival together allows me to pull together my personal and working experience of this industry so far, the people who contribute to this industry and my previous experience of working on and organising festivals and events.

“Through this offering I hope to bring a wide range of knowledge, experiences and awareness to the public around what wellness options are available to them as individuals, their families and friends that can encourage them to consider improving their own experience of life in some way.”

Tickets for the TONIC Health & Wellness Festival are £5 per person (£3 concession & £12 Family ticket – 2 adults 2 kids) and available from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide, by calling 0844 277 44 55 or from www.ticketmaster.ie.
