But a festival celebrating health and wellbeing taking place in Belfast next month is set to help people change all that.

When we are in these moods of total stress and anxiety, we find comforts to make ourselves feel better in the immediate short term.

But many of these comforts won’t help us to lead a happier and more positive life in the long run.

The TONIC Health & Wellness Festival 2015 will take place on Sunday 8 November at T13, Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, and will welcome a whole host of people and exhibitors.

The festival will highlight a range of health and wellness options for individuals and families from all walks of life and offer a selection of nutritious healthy food and drink options as well as a range of complementary therapies.

1. Floating

Vivian McKinnon from Hydro-Ease Flotation Centre will be delivering a presentation on the benefits of floatation therapy.

Deborah King from Bee Empowered will be one of the exhibitors who will deliver one of the many talks of the day.
She said: “Time Line Therapy is based on the concept that we each have a unique internal ‘time line’ which is how we unconsciously store our memories and projections of the future.
“It can help you heal emotional trauma, without having to talk about or re-live the events which caused these in the first place.”

3. Meditation

Event Organiser, Tessa Greer from The Sound Healing Spa will be delivering Sound Baths at the event.
