Health And Wellbeing Festival Set For Belfast THIS Sunday (Nov 8)

A FESTIVAL celebrating health and wellbeing will open its doors in Belfast this weekend.

The first TONIC Health & Wellness Festival event at T13 in the Titanic Quarter will take place this Sunday (November 8) and is set to feature a range of health and wellbeing exhibitors, practitioners, workshops and talks.
From highlighting a range of health and wellness options on offer for individuals and families to offering a selection of nutritious healthy food and drink options festival organiser Tessa Greer promises the event will be a “one stop shop” for people hoping to explore ways to improve theie general health and wellbeing.

Throughout the day visitors will be able to take place in a range of free talks and workshops, as well as experience of a range of complementary therapies taster sessions.

Tessa Greer, who is a sound therapist with her own company The Sound Healing Spa, said: “The festival is very much focused on encouraging people to pay attention to their mind, body and soul and give them options and ideas to help improve their own health and wellness.

“Bringing the TONIC Health & Wellness Festival together allows me to pull together my personal and working experience of this industry so far, the people who contribute to this industry and my previous experience of working on and organising festivals and events.

“At the festival we will have a range of natural, complementary and conventional therapies represented as well as complementary therapy taster sessions, talks and workshops in everything from yoga and Tai Chi to personal development as well as personal training demos, a kids and families area, creativity and wellbeing exhibitors, music and dance performances amongst many other experiences.”
